If there are only 2 units at the battlefield, do I have to pay deflect if the opponent's unit has deflect?

Ruling: Yes, you must pay deflect. Both units are targets, so if one or both of them are opponent's units with deflect, you will have to pay for each deflect.

Sequence:

• Identify all units that are targets
• If any opponent's unit with deflect is a target, you must pay its deflect cost
• If multiple opponent's units with deflect are targets, you must pay for all deflects
• If you cannot pay for the deflect cost(s), you are not allowed to play the card
